Q&A with RESET

Back in March, one of our board members sat down to chat with Lloyd Merchant, the head of RESET (Rapid Engagement of Support in the Event of Trauma), a community violence intervention program in Roanoke, VA. They are doing some incredible work, and it’s truly a testament to how much of a positive impact an individual can make. Community Violence Intervention Programs are absolutely vital in the fight against gun violence, and they’ve proven to be incredibly effective. Funding these programs is essential, and we encourage all Virginians to reach out to their elected officials to encourage support of CVIPs like RESET. We hope you give this interview a listen so you can better understand just how much these programs matter.
